Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how All Things Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Daybreak mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Daybreak is an alarm app published by All Things Labs, based in Arkansas, United States. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@allthingslabs.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you use “Sign in with Apple” or Google sign-in, we receive an account identifier and the email address you authorize the provider to share.
  • Content you create. Your alarms and wake-up settings, mood check-ins, wake-up challenge activity, and insights/streak history. This content is stored on your device and synced to our servers so it stays available across your sessions and devices.
  • Purchase information. If you buy a subscription or other in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We receive your subscription/entitlement status (for example, whether your subscription is active) — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
  • Usage and diagnostics. To keep the App reliable and improve it, we collect analytics about how the App is used and crash/error reports. This data is generally aggregated or pseudonymous.
  • Device and technical data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language/region, IP address, and (if you enable notifications) a push notification token.

3. How we use your information

  • Provide, sync, and maintain the App and your account.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Deliver alarms, reminders, and push notifications you’ve enabled.
  • Process and manage your subscriptions and purchases.
  • Understand usage and fix bugs through analytics and crash reports.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the App.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with law.

4. Push notifications

Daybreak uses notifications to deliver alarms and optional reminders (such as the daily mood check-in). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, though doing so will affect alarm delivery.

5. A note on mood and wellbeing data

If you use the daily mood check-in, the moods you log reflect personal wellbeing information. We treat this as personal data, do not sell it, and do not use it for advertising. Daybreak is not a medical or mental-health service and does not provide medical advice.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Hosting infrastructure we operate. Your synced data is stored on cloud servers that we control and operate in the United States.
  • PostHog, our analytics and error-reporting provider, which helps us measure usage and diagnose problems.
  • Apple and Google for authentication (Sign in with Apple / Google) and for processing subscriptions and in-app purchases.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and the content you sync (such as alarms, settings, mood check-ins, and insights) for as long as your account remains active, so your data is available whenever you sign in — including on a new or different phone. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from within the App, or by emailing support@allthingslabs.com. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

Daybreak is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area, where required) to use the App. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA), among others, have specific rights. To exercise any of these, email support@allthingslabs.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

11. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and may process and store your information in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
